Ideally located on Grayston Drive, Sandown, the FNB Conference Centre allows easy access to the Gautrain station, Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Sandton City and the Nelson Mandela Square, with a string of some of the finest dining and entertainment spots.
The facility has a 140-seater auditorium with access to an outdoor patio and the gardens, 17 conference rooms and 3 executive boardrooms, each fully equipped with AV and presentation technologies. Spacious public lounge areas are also available for networking sessions between meetings.
Depending on the seating style, our conference rooms comfortably seat up to 170 delegates, whilst the boardrooms comprise of the uBukhosi Suite seating 20 people, the Executive Boardroom that seats 30 people and the Executive Dining Room seating 20 people. Four syndicate rooms are available, which are well suited for interviews and break away sessions.
Our buffet dining room is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whilst the buffet lunch is the popular choice for conference delegates, we also offer the option of finger lunches at the conference venue. A surcharge does apply for this option.
Both the uBukhosi and the Executive Dining Room are suitable for private dining functions. An additional offering when booking the uBukhosi Suite, is personalised butler service and a private lounge.
Extensive renovations have recently been completed at the FNB Conference Centre. The dining room, bar and eight conference rooms have been completed. A number of smaller projects have been concluded around the complex, in order to enhance our guest’s experiences, including a deck area outside the Auditorium, enhancing the area for outdoor tea breaks and finger lunches whilst conferencing.
We also have a portable video conferencing unit available, which can be used in a number of conference rooms.
Wifi is available throughout the conference centre and secure, complimentary parking is provided on premises.
We provide complimentary shuttles to and from the Sandton Gautrain station for guests and conference delegates. Shuttles can be arranged to various other destinations, including OR Tambo and Lanseria airports.
To cater for active guests as well as supply facilities for adventurous team building events, we have a swimming pool and tennis and volley ball courts.

The FNB Conference Centre also has 120 contemporary en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped with coffee stations, a fridge, hair dryer and DSTV for modern convenience. For guests seeking longer term accommodation, three fully furnished self-catering apartments are available, each with their own private garden.
Additional hotel services include daily laundry services, ironing rooms and Room Service for lunch and dinner. Our restaurant team is passionate about providing our signature high levels of service and flexibility. Unique delicious menus are crafted for each event, depending on our clients’ exact needs and dietary preferences, including vegan and vegetarian. Kosher and Halaal requirements can be arranged through external providers with 48 hours notice.
A popular venue for post-event drinks and snacks or for hosting braais and outdoor events is the Liquid Lounge bar next to the pool. The Coffee shop is open daily (weekdays) for speciality coffees, confectionary and light meals.
Security is an important consideration at the FNB Conference Centre, with access control and 24 hour security patrols around the complex.
